The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is committed to providing health assessments, breastfeeding support, nutrition education and counseling, as well as referrals and vouchers for healthy foods to pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five.

Mission Statement: ECC's mission is to support the education of families and caregivers as primary caretakers and first teachers of young children; the provision of appropriate prenatal and early childhood health care; and the accessibility of high quality, early childhood education so that all children will enter school ready to learn and maximize their learning potential through the three focus areas of Building Brighter Futures for Broome

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC.
