How to Apply for WIC in Kentucky

    Find the current income guidelines .
    Nutritional risk: Be determined to be at nutritional risk by a health professional.
    Residency: Be a resident of Kentucky.

Kentucky WIC Benefits:
    WIC food vouchers: Vouchers for specific nutritious foods like milk, cheese, cereal, fruits, vegetables, and protein sources.
    Nutrition education: Individual and group counseling on healthy eating, meal planning, and breastfeeding.
    Breastfeeding support: Information, counseling, and peer support for breastfeeding mothers.
    Referrals: Referrals to other health and social services.

How to use WIC vouchers: WIC vouchers can be used at authorized grocery stores to purchase approved WIC foods. You can find a list of authorized grocery stores in your area on the Kentucky WIC website.

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk.
