Guidance and assistance regarding breastfeeding
Support in locating healthcare and other essential services in your area
Eligibility criteria:
Pregnant, breastfeeding a baby under 1 year of age, or recently had a baby in the past 6 months
Infants and Children under 5 years old, including foster children
Families with a low to medium income
All
parents and caregivers can participate in WIC, whether you're a dad,
grandparent, foster parent, or any caregiver of a child under 5 years
old.
U.S. citizenship is not a requirement for WIC program eligibility, everyone, regardless of citizenship status, can access the support provided by WIC.
The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC.
