They are great when you need their help and things . i also want to see if i can get an appointment for tomorrow around 3 pm
A family member of mine came to wic after having their baby. I advised her to ask for a breast pump because she was interested in breastfeeding but had been supplementing some with formula. The WIC administrator advised her that they prefer the baby to be the "pump" for a few weeks and then will look at giving her a pump. They also offered her formula So please - tell me how giving formula for supplementation but offering no method for someone to express their milk when baby takes a formula bottle. Seems like some re-education on breastfeeding needs to happen because there is no way for her to build any supply for a successful breastfeeding relationship.
