St Lucie County WIC provides nutrition education and supplemental foods for WIC eligible, pregnant and breast-feeding women, infants, and children under age 5. Milk, cereals, fruit, vegetables, baby food, whole grains, fruit juice, cheese, eggs, and fortified infant formula are listed on checks provided to clients.

Checks can be redeemed for food in participating grocery stores.

Also provides breast feeding support, includes electric breast pump loan, and manual breast pumps.

Mission Statement: The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program is a premier public health nutrition program designed to improve the health of pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to age 5 through nutrition counseling and nutritious foods.

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.
