Georgia's WIC is the nation's fifth largest Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children.
The Food and Nutrition Service administers the program at the federal level and provides funds to state agencies for implementation.
At the state level, the Department of Community Health, Division of Public Health, Maternal and Child Health Program, Office of Nutrition and WIC administers the program.
Georgia participants receive a nutrition assessment, health screening, medical history, body measurements (weight and height), hemoglobin check, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, referrals to other health and social services, and vouchers for healthy foods.
WIC serves women, infants, and children in families with income at or below 185 percent of the federally poverty level or enrolled in Medicaid; and who are at risk for nutritional deficiencies.
Participant categories consist of pregnant, postpartum and breast-feeding women; infants and children up to their fifth birthday.

The security guards on duty this morning seem to be having a bad day, they refuse to get up out those chairs and just newer questions prior to customers walking up to the door, people are sitting outside in the cold in those chairs they have placed outside.
I'm texting because I haven't received my baby WIC yet for this month and I was trying to find out how can I email y'all so I can send her weight so I can get my WIC folder
This location has great customer service, however, no one answers the phone! very unprofessional

They have horrible customer service. They never answer the phone and you have to fax stuff to them 10x in order for them to respond. I recommend for mothers to go else where.
