WIC is a nutrition program that provides healthy food, nutrition and health education, and other services free of charge to pregnant or nursing mothers as well as families and caregivers with children younger than 5 years of age.  WIC has Arlington office hours every Tuesday (except the second Tuesday) at 7 Central St, Arlington.  Income eligibility requires proof of:  1) household income and 2) identity/Massachusetts residency (utility bill, bank statement, drivers license, birth certificate, etc.).

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC.
