    Peanut butter or other legumes: Dry beans, peas, or lentils are provided to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, and peanut butter or other nut butters are provided to children 2 years and older.
    Soybeans: Tofu or tempeh is provided to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women who are vegetarians or vegans.

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk.
