WIC. WIC is a nutrition program that provides health education, healthy foods, breastfeeding support, and other services free of charge to South Carolina families who qualify.

WIC has day, evening, and Saturday appointments available. WIC even has walk-in hours!
Remember, please bring the family members applying for WIC services to the appointment (you, your child and/or your infant). If the appointment is for a child, only a parent or legal caretaker who lives with the child can bring the child and complete the paperwork.

What Does WIC Offer?By joining WIC, you are becoming part of a team that will help provide you with the tools and support you need to make healthy choices for you and ones you love.  
To do this, WIC provides:
Monthly checks to buy healthy foodPersonalized nutrition information and supportBreastfeeding support, including one-on-one counseling with a mother who has breastfedReferrals for services that can benefit the whole family. But that s not all!
WIC also offers immunization screening and referral, infant formula support, and nutrition and health classes on a variety of topics including meal planning, caring for a new baby, shopping on a budget, and more.
Broken-down by cost, WIC services can be valued at over $300 a month.

The Official WIC program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed. Check the Income Guidelines Table to see if you are eligible for WIC. This website was created for women looking for WIC information and locations. We are also working towards adding other locations and services that may help out women.
